September meeting

Good attended meeting seventeen in all. Pat's once again was worthy of a picture with the bare tree, woodpecker and deer. The painting looked even better than the picture. The craft group worked on decorative cards for Christmas.

August meeting

Only eleven turned up today but being in the middle of the holiday season it is to be expected. The craft section got busy making delicate swans for decorating cards while the five artists busied themselves with their individual projects. Pat's is once again the pictured image of her tame robin so tame that it will perch on her hand.

Painting Exhibition at Hanger Farm Art Centre

Our U3A painting exhibition was a success with an eclectic mix of genre.(I'm being arty) Seriously it was good as some of us had little and in some cases no previous history of drawing or painting. Quite a number of members and guests turned out to view our work more than in the film as I took that early in the evening.
On show for a month so plenty of time for viewing.
